We have a 2010 Outback and the audio from the latest phones do not play on the bluetooth. It only picks up calls. I hope that the technology has improved now and this is no longer an issue. However, I was wondering what the audio options on the Ascent might be. Does anyone know if it will play audio from a USB/SD card?

I haven't seen it called out in the Ascent, but the 2015 Outback plays audio just fine from a USB stick or Bluetooth. I use both regularly. No SD card slot for audio at least in the Outback but you could probably by a USB adapter to play from a SD card. Haven't tried that. I can only assume the Ascent will do at least what the 2015 Outback does.
