I'm seriously considering investing in this BlackVue DR750-2CH-LTE Dual Lens Front + Rear Dash Cam w/ Built-In 4G-LTE The only challenge is to keep it power up in parking mode for a week since I don't drive every day.
At times like these, I think that it is okay to cry...

The backup battery they offer is expensive and last only 24 hours.
Interesting...I reserved it. The only thing is there are bound to be issues with new tech.

So, since I posted the link, I did some digging. It's apparently their second one. Also, it has a developer API so people can write their own apps for it.

I like that it has no screen. My cheapo dash cam I've had for years has a tiny screen which is worthless for anything other than seeing that it is turned on or for accessing it's settings screen.

Ouch, that's ridiculous.
I just looked at that. $319 for a 6000mah battery. You can buy any 6000mah power pack for $50.
That's the direction I was looking at. Get bigger power pack and use that while car is parked.

Yep. I'm even wondering if I need to bother. I am thinking of just in-lining a voltage cut-off from my current battery. Heck, it runs my 45w fridge for 2 days (normal weather) without issue. It cost the same $319 ($304 actually) as the 6,000 mAh battery - and it's a 76 Ah instead, that can be used multi-purpose (fridge, parking mode, etc).
I just pledged for the dride with rear camera. I missed the early bird 15% discount which was only available last night. Figures, one night I didn't check my mail before lights out.
I like that the head unit is compact with no screen and the rear cam is wireless to the front. Just don't feel like dissembling the interior to run a data cable all the way to the front. Will have to determine what the parasitic draw is before deciding on battery backup.
Delivery won't be until January (or possibly never).

I didn't need the memory, but, to get the cell unit and all three cameras, the price was about the same with the 128GB memory. So, I will supplement that with my own 256GB cards, and have even more, lol!

Nothing interesting happens inside my car so the third camera wasn't important to me. I've never had a problem with my Sandisk micro sd cards in my Aukey dashcam in the Florida heat so I figured just using the sd slot was more than enough. My phone has unlimited hot spot so I passed on the cellular option too.
Downside to 2 separate units will be finding space for battery backups if the parasitic draw is too much. Supposedly under 50mah.

Me either. It's more for a glance out the sides, though I figured I could also cheat and pull footage on road trips where I don't have a cam set up inside.
Did you actually get the early bird pricing? I thought my preregistration bought me the early bird price but couldn't figure out how to get it after the timer ran out.

You can message them - they've been honoring it retroactively it seems. I got an email implying Early Bird was open for only a few hours and I should be logged in at 9am to get it.
