The following bike rack has listed in it's description, that "The carrier is unique to Subaru and designed to properly attach to the 2-inch Subaru Genuine Trailer Hitch only".

Also listed on the site's description it states the rack fits in a class III 2" receiver.

I bought a Draw Tite hitch receiver (https://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Hitch/Subaru/Ascent/2020/76253.html?VehicleID=202079202) which is described as a Class III 2" receiver.

I'm assuming they're trying to make you think it's a very unique product, but it should work right?

I think that it is 2” only as opposed to Subaru hitches on other models that are a 1-1/4” receiver.
