Subaru has chosen to slowly walk into the EV market, but I suspect once they do, they will make s splash, Here is one major component that we might see in the EV.

I "suspect" a new EV timeline is on the horizon, very soon. Many details should be revealed in it. ;)

New battery tech is desprately needed, but it will take a long time for it to propagate through the industry. Heck, many hybrids still use NiMH batteries instead of lithium ions.

I'll admit to being a dinosaur, and electrics will be the future, but none of them sound like my RX8 when I shift at 9000rpms or have the fire-breathing rumble of my old Z28 with full-race cam and open headers.

Big VW announcement. Unified cells platform. Different chemistries for different applications and ultimately housing solid state cells.
