Android texting issues resolved in 2023
Just wanted to post that android phone with RCS texting works in the 2023. Also can receive group texts.
This is something I posted about earlier this year when I got my 2022 touring that would not work.
I didn't want to have to use Android auto and now that I picked up my 2023 today I don't have to.

I choose not to use AA. So I'm just hooked up Bluetooth. It's an easy selection to connect to Android auto but I prefer to use the built-in systems. Since I have the touring I have the nav system. Plus I pay as I go for my phone data 😎So you're not using the new wireless AA?

Subaru's NAV is nowhere as good as Google or WAZE. I got really tired of Subaru's NAV trying to take me across a 5 lane road. But good to know about RCS, curious if it still works hooked up in other ways.

The RCS worked using Android auto in my 2022FYI
