As we were driving to Utah, it would have been nice to have an indicator of the altitude + the temp. Wonder if this could be added in the future ?

Does the stock nav have it? It had it on my 14 Forester stock unit, I use Android auto on the ascent so have not looked at the stock nav much. I'll have to check tomorrow.

I think it's on the Navigation, thought I saw it. The Temp can be set to your current location. Don't remember how, but that's how I have mine. Check the manual if no one post how to do it.

GPS data does contain rudimentary altitude, although it's not always accurate.

Whats the reasons for the elevation info? How precise do you need it (eg 100ft, 1000ft, etc)?

Since I use WAZE a lot, I 'll check the navigation closely but don't remember it showing. To answer Trey T, the same reason having the temp. More info. My Garmin has it.
